Los Premios AAD vuelven tras el parón provocado por el Covid-19. De alguna manera es una edición especial ya que nos volveremos a ver todos tras unos años sin podernos reunir. Por eso la junta directiva de la AAD ha decidido dos cosas importantes. Por un lado la ubicación del festival. Fue en Úbeda, una ciudad cargada de historia y que tiene un tamaño perfecto para que nos podamos ver todos. Por otro lado se decidió ampliar las categorías porque consideramos que el diseño ha evolucionado a otros campos que queremos contemplar.

Se partía de una identidad y elementos ya desarrollados por compañeros de la asociación, Isa Palmero, Nuria López, Chio Romero y otros miembros de la aad. La idea básica del proyecto era dar continuidad al uso de patrones y figuras marcadas como el octógono, la barra o las figuras cuadradas de ajedrez. También era esencial mantener el código de colores o la tipografía del evento, en este caso Helvética.
Para crear los elementos, buscamos composiciones sencillas con diferentes juegos visuales donde el movimiento diera personalidad a cada composición con elementos. Para las composiciones que van a tener un mayor uso y posiblemente se quemen con más facilidad, hemos añadido un mayor número de elementos y animaciones más complicadas para atraer la atención del espectador durante más tiempo.

It was based on an identity and elements already developed by fellow members of the association, Isa Palmero, Nuria López, Chio Romero and other members of the aad. The basic idea of the project was to give continuity to the use of marked patterns and figures such as the octagon, the slash or square chess figures. It was also essential to maintain the color code or typography for the event, in this case Helvetica.
To create the elements, we looked for simple compositions with different visual games where the movement gives personality to each composition with elements. For compositions that are going to have a greater use and possibly burn more easily, we have added a greater number of elements and more complicated animations to attract the viewers' attention for a longer period of time.
LOOP
Para el vídeo LOOP destinado al fondo de pantalla durante el evento, se ha realizado una animación más elaborada, con la inclusión de elementos alternativos y con técnicas de animación algo diferentes, frases amenas y menos institucionales. Todo ello sin apartarse del tono del evento.

For the LOOP video for the wallpaper during the event, a more elaborate animation has been made, with the inclusion of alternative elements and with somewhat different animation techniques, pleasant and less institutional phrases. All this without departing from the tone of the event.

Todo lo que he contado suena genial pero es mejor verlo en contexto con el lugar del evento en el inigualable Hospital de Santiago de Úbeda.
